Recently I've taken a few steps into the world of copywriting, and produced both conventional, printed material for Tesco's specialist electronics outlets and the company's new online music store - Tesco Digital.

Both jobs required easy-to-understand copy that explained the technology and any underlying technical issues in a way that didn't send prospective customers running for the hills.

The printed brochure was a solo writing project that involved working alongside a design agency to meet the brief. The download site was a much bigger job and I worked closely with the both Tesco and a large creative and technical team at a London-based design agency over a period of six months.
